about
Lunch Cult is back with a toe tapping anthem that will make you want to strip down and run to the nearest ocean.
Good Day for the Beach is written for Los Angeles comedy group No That's Okay's feature debut film "Jellyfish". Written and directed by Gabe Ross and starring Gabe Bernini, Will Duncan, Eli Leonard, and Ian Abramson, Jellyfish is a classic tale of the Odd Man Out, the fish out of water, the square peg being fruitlessly forced into the round hole, and his last-ditch effort at redemption. We hope you like the song and check out the movie!
lyrics
The sandy waves
Sweet lemonade
A sandwich made with mayonnaise
It's looking like a good day for the beach
Bikini tops
And soda pops
A dolphin washed up on the rocks
It’s looking like a good day for the beach
We got a pad in Malibu
Our life is like a dream come true
And when you say "let's get away"
I know you don't mean the pool
The endless shore
And the oceans roar
The sand makes up our private porch
It’s looking like a good day for us
Celebrating July fourth and-
I’m so glad we don’t live up north 'cause
It’s looking like a good day for the beach
